Drama Production Alice in Wonderland

Wednesday 11th February & Thursday 12th February
It has been a whirlwind of creativity and community at The Sacred Heart Language College as our KS3 Drama Club brought the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland to life!
Since rehearsals kicked off in October, our dedicated company of 30 cast members and 5 backstage crew have worked tirelessly to craft a production that was as meaningful as it was magical. In a powerful reflection of Catholic Social Teaching, all props were upcycled by the club, proving that imaginative theatre can truly honour our "Stewardship of God’s Creation." We were also incredibly grateful for the select Year 10 and 11 students who stepped up to support the production, showing fantastic leadership.
The culmination of this hard work resulted in a spectacular two-night public run, alongside a special daytime performance for our local primary schools. Seeing our students deliver such high-energy performances for the younger children was a true testament to our vibrant school spirit!
A Huge Thank You
We couldn't have done it without our amazing parents and carers—your support with lines, lifts, and encouragement made this journey possible.
A massive thank you to Mr Starling, Head of Performance, for his technical support, site staff and to our Headteacher, Ms Walsh, for her unwavering support of the arts. Finally, a shout-out to every staff member who helped behind the scenes—your collective effort ensured our students had a platform to shine!
