Wates Construction STEM EVENT

WATES Construction led a STEM event with our year 9 students on Thursday 15th January.
The day consisted of an engineering challenge where students were given resources and had to meet an engineering design challenge. Students were given constraints including cost and specific design criteria to overcome.
WATES also presented career opportunities within the construction industry and, in particular, opportunities for women. WATES are currently building a range of construction projects in the local area and are keen to support our students.
