RED WEDNESDAY

Wednesday 19th November 2025
On Wednesday 19th of November, we stood as a College community in solidarity for those persecuted for their faith. As part of Red Wednesday, we invited students to wear a red accessory with their uniform to raise awareness for the millions of people around the world who cannot freely practice their religious beliefs.
Through participating, we not only honoured the dignity of every person but also showed solidarity with those who suffer, and recognised our responsibility to stand up for those persecuted.
Coming together in this way reminded us that even small actions can shine a light on injustice and help promote the common good.
In the dark, their dreams are like stars in the midnight sky

Below is a poem by Clara - 9E
Cries unheard, voices silenced
The wound of vulnerability and the scars of suffering,
All bound into one, searching for help in this growing void
Compassion walks with those whose hearts speak
For serving the voiceless, you serve the Lord
They stand as shadows but should be known as the light.
They live life with humbleness, accepting the call of whispers,
That, in itself is the bravest of acts.
Standing together with pride, sharing voices to change the world
One mind, one voice, one heart can make all the difference.
As we promise to hold each other in dignity
Thank you, Lord, for my words
