MAYOR'S POETRY COMPETITION

This year, our school was invited to take part in the Mayor’s poetry competition. Students were asked to write poems on the theme of conflict and remembrance, to help memorialise those who have died in war and participate in Remembrance Day.
Many students wrote beautiful poems and we appreciated every submission. It was wonderful to see how creative and thoughtful the girls are and we look forward to reading more of their work.
Sienna in year 7 was a runner up in the competition. Her wonderful, reflective poem was chosen by the mayor to be read aloud at the official Harrow Remembrance Parade.
We are incredibly proud of her and encourage you to take some time and read her poem. Congratulations to Sienna!
