The drama department gave the year 11 drama class the opportunity to participate in the Take the Lead project. This is a project lead by the old Vic theatre and is dedicated to helping young students improve their interview skills, confidence and creativity.

We had one session in the old Vic theatre and two drop-in sessions where specialists came into the school to do a workshop. It was great, fun and helped develop our confidence and theatre knowledge.

On the 13^{th of} February 2025 we went the Bank of Canada in London. Here we met with multiple other schools (including St. Dominic's). It was a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends. This day was split into three sections: elevator pitches, social networking and interview skills. We learnt to develop a range of skills such as speaking in front of large crowds and also how to conduct an interview.

To finish the experience, we were invited to the theatre to watch Oedipus. The emotional intensity of the actors brought the tragic tale to life, making every scene gripping and unforgettable. The lighting and sound effects enhanced the drama, immersing us completely in the unfolding story. The choreography added a dynamic element, emphasising the tension and emotion of key moments. It was a fitting and memorable way to end an incredible experience.
