On Friday, January 17th, The Sacred Heart Language College celebrated Cultural Day, bringing together students and staff to honour their diverse heritages. The day began with a lively lunch in the hall, where different houses brought in unique cultural foods for everyone to enjoy. Next a cultural talent show that featured captivating dances, a live band, inspiring speeches different customs and traditions, and a stunning catwalk displaying traditional attire from various cultures.
It truly was an amazing experience filled with laughter, a strong sense of community, and pride in our diversity. This year’s Cultural Day was a fantastic reminder of how our differences enrich our school community. I can’t wait to see what next year’s celebration will bring!
