Year 4 Master Class – Shakespeare: Page to Stage 

On Tuesday 7^th February the English department hosted a Year 4 Master Class. 25 students from various local primary schools were in attendance, and spent the day studying a scene from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The day culminated in student performances of an adapted scene. It was a wonderful opportunity for pupils to engage with a sophisticated text, polish their drama skills, build confidence with English and enhance their communication skills while making new friends.
