On Friday 1st July we celebrated the Feast of The Sacred Heart which started with a reflective liturgy followed by an Awards Ceremony.  The day was packed with events and following the Awards Ceremony we were treated to a BBQ.  Each house performed a dance on the theme of one of the continents of the olympic flag to mark the Rio olympics this summer. ‘Hope’ house were allocated Asia to choreograph a performance to so Bollywood was the obvious choice and the dance was choreographed by Janelle Baghaloo 10H  (Head of House), Charlize Kiely 10H and Brooke Mallen 10H. It was simple but effective. Everyone enjoyed the rehearsals and were more than ready to perform. We were delighted when Miss Higgins chose ‘Hope’ as the best dance and now Hope house “hope” to continue with this success at Sports Day next year.                                                                                                                Mrs Quinn - Head of Year 7
