Year 12 St Dominic's MFL visit

Wednesday 21st January 2026

On Wednesday 21st January, some Year 12 students from St Dominic’s College came to Sacred Heart to teach our Year 10 students on the topics of Festivals and School. It was great to see the Year 12 students deliver their lessons so confidently, as well as sharing some invaluable tips about how to succeed in MFL GCSEs in the Year group assembly that place earlier that morning. Finally, it was wonderful to chat with some of our past students and hear how well they have settled at St Dominic’s College.

I really enjoyed the visit by the year 12 students from St Dominic’s!
As well as making our lesson even more fun, they also taught us lots of important vocabulary that is part of the curriculum, but some that was a bit more difficult.
I hope they visit us again because they really helped me learn my vocabulary and I felt confident talking to them. It was also inspiring to hear all their tips for exam success.
