JACK PETCHEY SPEAK OUT CHALLENGE
Friday 30th January
The aim of the workshop was for students to learn about the fundamentals of public speaking, persuasive delivery and audience engagement. The top 6 from the day were:
1: Frances 10A
2: Ciara Boswell 10E
3: Kyara 10E
4: Kalina 10E
5: Mahiya 10E
6: Aravee 10A
The students above then delivered their speeches in front of their year group during this morning's assembly final. They all did incredibly well, overcame nerves and presented on a topic that was personal to them. It was a pleasure to listen to their speeches and they are a real credit to our school. Thank you to Ms Walsh, Ms Thenuwara and Ms Di Lullo for being staff judges and deciding on a runner up and a winner.
Winner - Ciara 10E who will now progress to borough finals on the 11th March at Bentley Wood School
Runner up - Frances 10A
Congratulations to all students who took part.
