At sunrise, 12 students took part in our RSPB Schools’ Birdwatch. During our hour of observing, we spotted parakeets, wagtails, wood pigeons, feral pigeons, a robin and black‑headed gulls. The students worked well as a team and were excited to record what they saw.

We’re now looking forward to uploading our results to the RSPB and contributing to this national citizen‑science project.
