Cross Country Borough Championships

Thursday 15th January 2026
Our students braved very wet and muddy conditions at Harrow School on Thursday 15th January as they competed in the annual Borough Cross Country Championships. Despite the challenging weather, the team showed outstanding resilience, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
We are incredibly proud to share the following results:
Minor Girls Race (2.5k)
- Sarah 8E – 7th place (selected for the Middlesex Team)
- Patricia 7A – 8th place (selected for the Middlesex Team)
- Heidi 7T – 16th out of 41 runners
- Akhere 8H – 19th out of 41 runners
- Odion 8E – 21st out of 41 runners
Both Sara and Patricia’s top‑10 finishes mean they will proudly represent Middlesex at county level — a fantastic achievement.
Junior Girls Race (2.5k)
- Emily 9A – 11th place, narrowly missing selection for the Middlesex team
- Mia 9H – 14th out of 36 runners
- Erika 9A – 15th out of 36 runners
A brilliant set of performances against strong competition, demonstrating determination right to the finish line.
Intermediate Girls Race (4.2k)
- Emily 10E – 9th place (selected for the Middlesex Team)
Another superb result and Middlesex Team selection—well done, Emily!
A Message of Congratulations
A huge congratulations to every runner who took part. Your effort, teamwork and perseverance were evident throughout the event. Special thanks go to Rhea and the staff who supported the team and to everyone who helped ensure the students were prepared and encouraged on the day.
We look forward to cheering on our Middlesex qualifiers as they advance to the next stage of competition.
