On the 20th of June 2025, our school community joyfully celebrated la Fete de la Musique. We started with a special assembly where we talked about the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to emphasise the beauty of cultural diversity and the power of music in bringing people together. At lunch time, we had the privilege to enjoy a fantastic performance delivered by some Y10 students who led us all in singing a very much loved song “ On écrit sur les murs”. The  Year 7 students also surprised us with a lovely rendition of the French song from the Little Prince musical. Congratulation Y7s ! It was a lovely event and a great opportunity to showcase the spirit of unity which is always at the heart of our school community.

This year again, La fete de La Musique was an amazing whole school experience. We learned many facts about this celebration and the Eurovision Junior Contest. During lunch, many came to celebrate this fun and popular French tradition to sing along the school band. We performed a range of well-known songs, including the much French loved songs “ On ecrit sur les Murs”. It was truly a great school celebration.
