Kimba a poet and hip hop artist entertained and involved Year 8 students on Monday with his poetry followed by a Poetry workshop. Students read out their finished poems to the group, so many wonderful poems created in the workshops.

 

 

 

 

 

On Tuesday, John Row, a legendary storyteller and poet and a veteran of the British Festival Scene, who has been exciting children and adults alike for over four decades. John delighted Year 7 with stories from around the world followed by an interactive workshop with the pupils.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Wednesday, Seth Burkett an author talked to Year 9 about his journey to becoming an author, followed by a creative writing workshop. Some fantastic work was produced.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I must say a big thank you to all the girls who took part for their exemplary behaviour. All the visitors remarked on this and the enthusiasm of the girls.
