Train to Teach with Us

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, bright candidates who are excited about the prospect of training to teach here at The Sacred Heart Language College!

We work in partnership with The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School, which is the lead school in the Saint John Southworth Enterprise and Research Alliance. The SJSERA is a regional hub of Xavier Teach SouthEast, providing teacher training in central and west London with a thriving network of schools around the capital.  Every year the Alliance provides a number of new trainees with exciting train-to-teach opportunities. They liaise with other schools across London, including The Sacred Heart Language College, to create ongoing staff development programmes.

With places in a range of subjects available, the SJSERA prides itself on providing an environment in which new teachers can flourish, grow, and excel. With dedicated mentors on hand, the courses on offer give you the chance to really get stuck into your first year of training.
