The Sacred Heart Language College

Pamela

I have just finished Year 11.  I have high academic aspirations and I am aiming to get good grades in my GCSEs and to continue my studies at St. Dominic’s. My long term aspiration is to study Medicine at university and to become a doctor. This is my lifelong dream and I know that my time at Sacred Heart was a stepping stone to the dream being fulfilled.

I went to St. Teresa’s Primary School in Harrow and now when I look back I cannot believe how quickly the time has flown by. What I loved most about The Sacred Heart Language College was the brilliant staff; all the staff including the office staff and support staff. The staff team in student services were always cheerful and friendly and were there to help when I was ill. I really enjoyed my lessons too - they were always fun, engaging and challenging. The teachers were very helpful and always pushed me to achieve the best grades possible.

In Year 11 I was a Senior Prefect and was involved with many aspects of school life, such as taking part in assemblies, going to Governor’s meetings and helping my year group as part of various committees. This really helped me to develop my organisational skills and to develop my confidence.  Although I am sad to move on I feel ready to face the challenges ahead.

STOP PRESS - I have just recieved my GCSE results and I achieved 6 A*, 3 A's and 1 B grade.
