My name is Karolina and I have been a part of the Sacred Heart community for 3 years; in other words, I am a year 10 pupil at the Sacred Heart Language College. Thanks to all the support that has been given to me since Year 7, I strongly feel that I have gained confidence both academically and personally.
Throughout my years at the Sacred Heart I have been a part of the School Council, where I have had the chance to have my own voice and the voice of my peers heard by the school. I am currently a Charity Representative. I have also attended many of the various extracurricular clubs that the school has to offer, such as, debate club, Carnegie Book Award, after school sports held by the P.E. department, STEM club, gospel/concert/chamber choir and have received voice/instrumental lessons.
My two favourite subjects are Maths and Modern Foreign Languages. In the future I hope to work in the aviation industry, and I am sure that some of the key things I have learned in this school such as perseverance, taking pride in my work and “not settling for second best” will help me succeed at life.
