The Sacred Heart Language College Election – June 2017
Tuesday 6th June
On Tuesday 6th June all the Year 7 and 8 students at the Sacred Heart Language College had the opportunity to vote in our school election.
The students had an assembly immediately before the half term, in which they were given an outline of the democratic process. They then returned to class where in their PSHE lesson they looked at the manifestos of the parties which are represented in the Harrow East constituency: Green Party, Liberal Democrat Party, Conservative Party and the Labour Party.
The turnout was excellent, with over 90% of the electorate choosing to vote.
