On Thursday 11th January a group of Year 7 pupils went to North London Collegiate School for the Gifted & Able Trip, with the focus for the day being Science.

This was one of the most thrilling experiences I have ever had. It started with a long voyage on a bus which soon led me to the world of science. Once I had reached my destination, I saw a colossal building. Our mission at the end of the day was to figure out who destroyed the painting. ‘Harmony of learning.’ We were doing some fun activities which included: looking through microscopes, ink stains, hair samples, DNA samples and, of course, interrogating the culprits.

All these activities tested our knowledge and detective skills. At the start of the day, we were all feeling apprehensive, as we did not know what would happen there and if we would make any friends, but at the end of the day we socialised with new people and had lots of fun.
