The Sacred Heart Language College

Red Wednesday

Wednesday 20th November

On Wednesday the 20th of November the pupils of Sacred Heart joined with the Catholic Community Worldwide to remember people of all faiths and none who are being persecuted because of their religious beliefs.  To show our sympathy with anyone who has been imprisoned or persecuted because of their faith members of the school community wore something red along with their school uniform as an act of solidarity and we were proud of the response of our pupils to this invitation. We raised money for “Aid to the Church in Need” a Catholic Charity that helps the persecuted across the globe through donations and prayer. Once more this year it was a fantastic event.
