Freshers' Week 2015
Between Monday 5th and Friday 9th October we held this year’s Sacred Heart Freshers’ Week.
Just like at university, it was the opportunity for our new students in year 7 to get a flavour of the range of extra-curricular activities and clubs on offer here at the Sacred Heart. Over the course of the week, our year 7 students sampled a range of new activities and clubs. Each pupil was given a ‘Freshers’ Week Passport’, with all of the week’s activities listed, and they received a stamp for every activity they attended.
The week was a great success, with attendance at all of the extra-curricular activities and clubs increasing dramatically. What has been especially encouraging is that the pupils so enjoyed the activities that many have continued to attend ever since
